A correction
If a guide does not match what happened in your home, we want to know. Tell us your conditions — light, pot size, watering interval — and we will re-test the advice and update the page.
Suggest a guide
A plant you cannot find good information on, or a problem nobody explains properly? Tell us the species and what you have already tried.

Notices of alleged copyright infringement should follow the procedure on our DMCA page so we can act on them quickly.

Before you email
A few things that may answer the question faster:
- Plant looking unwell? Nine times out of ten it is watering or light. Start with watering intervals by plant and what low light actually means.
- Worried about a pet? Check our pet safe plant list — but if an animal has already eaten something, call a vet rather than emailing us.
- Legal or privacy questions? Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy cover most of them.
- Copyright notice? Follow the procedure on our DMCA & Copyright page so we can act on it straight away.
